Make new friends, indulge in lots of chocolate, and take fabulous field trips! You'll remember this imaginative art encounter for years to come. Paula will provide many extra embellishments and other materials to help make yours the experience of a lifetime. She wants your time together to be meaningful, useful, lively, and fun-filled. It's for anyone, from beginners to experienced fine artists, and it includes a special, late-night session for aspiring authors! There will be open studio time, too, for whenever the creative urge strikes..
As a visual arts educator, Paula also believes in sending you home with hand-outs—instruction sheets—and, of course, truly lovely pieces of art. You'll see many inspiring examples as we explore, play, and discover exciting new techniques. Our adventure includes making "ghosts," painting, mark-making, cutting, assembling, re-assembling, dyeing, you name it. We'll drip, splat, scrape, press, drag, peel, and so much more!
The giggles begin upon arrival! We'll get to know each other with playful warm-up art activities. No drawing skills required.
