Join Patrick Mahoney for 11 days of sightseeing and photography in lively and inspiring Phoenix/Scottsdale, beautiful and colorful Sedona, the majestic and awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Painted Desert & Pertrified Forrest, and the historic Route 66!

Scottsdale, Arizona, located in the Valley of the Sun, and the Sonoran desert area surrounding greater Phoenix as well as Sedona and the Grand Canyon are among Patrick's favorite places in America's great Southwest! During the course of the week we will enjoy visiting and photographing the wonders of the Sonoran desert in and around greater Phoenix. During our two-day stay in Sedona we will visit several areas of special interest and walk among the vortexs! We will go to the Grand Canyon South Rim where winter white snow may still offer a beautiful contrast to the rich colors of the canyon walls. We continue to Page, Arizona to visit Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. We will also visit Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Painted Desert & Petrified Forrest! Numerous varieties of cactus, flowers, birds and natural geologic formations are all part of this southwest desert environment.  Plus stops along historic Route 66 in Williams and Holbrook!

This is a small-group experience open to all who love to experience our natural wonders as well as photograph these special places. Participants planning to photograph should plan to bring all photographic gear including plenty of battery, memory cards, laptop and downloading gear. All capturing devices are accepted...from digital SLRs to point and shoot to smartphones!

Plan to dress for variable conditions! Phoenix/Scottsdale is warm/hot by day and cool evenings. Sedona can be cold, and the Grand Canyon can still experience a mix of winter conditions!

 Note: We do not book shared rooms for guests unfamiliar with each other without their mutual consent. All individuals occupying a single room will be charged the single room rate.
