Join Linda and Charee for a week of Writing and Yoga while immersed in the beauty of Tuscany!

At our core, we are all infinite creative beings and we all have a story to tell, yet often we allow our minds to get in the way of clearly channeling our truth.

Come to beautiful Italy and spend a week under the Tuscan sun with Author/Poet/Journalist Linda Oatman High and Yogi/Dancer/Energy Practitioner/ Master Teacher Charee Janelle. 

This is your invitation to explore the deep connection of writing, yoga, and movement as the means to tap into your innate creativity. Deepen your engagement with life in this very moment, tune inward, and give yourself permission to release any blocks, energy, and stress, and ignite your creativity to step into your authentic powerful self.

Whether you are a published author or a beginning writer (or somewhere in-between), Linda Oatman High will teach you how to get your thoughts on the page as Charee guides the group through Yoga practices that are suitable for all levels of experience.  You will notice that by moving your body, stilling your mind, and letting go of the inner critic, your writing will flow as your creative spirit is unleashed.  Linda will work with those writers who already have a novel in progress as well as those just wishing to spark ideas and get words on the page.

Linda Oatman High is an author/journalist/playwright who has published more than 30 books, with many of her books winning awards and honors. She holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College and teaches both nationally and internationally.

These measures and protocols may vary and or change from time to time as well as during the course of and given workshop or program or tour and we will adapt to and abide by official safety measures and protocols. All of our guests and participants, without exception, are expected to adapt to and abide by official safety measures and protocols during any given workshop or program or tour in which they are participating. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face masks are the responsibility of each guest or participant. Health documents such as proof of vaccination or inoculation or other required by a host country, such as Italy for example, are the sole responsibility of each guest or participant. We strongly suggest all such documents are carried on-person at all times during any given workshop or program or tour in which they are participating.
Persons who may be in an at-risk category or state of health are suggested to not participate.

About Cortona

Cortona is one of the true jewels of the Tuscan “hill towns.”    Cortona, which is often called the “City of Art,” has its origin as an Etruscan city that pre-dates Roman times with sections of its walls dating back some 2500 years.  As is typical of Tuscan hill-towns, Cortona is a walled city that, for purposes of defense, was built atop a prominent geographical point. The stone buildings and streets not only have the romance, style, and charm that are particular to Tuscany, but also speak of the lives and times Cortona has witnessed. An encounter with Cortona is an encounter with music & art, with history and with spirituality. Getting to know this timeless city is a real rediscovery of our past. Cortona offers testimony to its history as well as an enchanting view of the landscape enclosed by Lake Trasimeno and the Apennine mountains.
